Start with the relationship
A platform can commission or license a drama without being the company that physically makes it. A studio can supply titles to a service it does not own outright. A credited producer, a financial backer and an app-store developer can therefore all be connected to the same release in different ways.

Company descriptions establish a starting point

For each show, look for the producer, commissioning party, credited writers and directors, cast, and the version being discussed. If an official listing omits a role, leave it unfilled. Guessing a production company from a poster style or a performer’s nationality introduces a claim the source cannot support.
People need dated, role-specific records
A company biography may remain online after someone changes jobs. A founder title does not necessarily describe the person who currently runs day-to-day production. Record the source date and the exact role established by the evidence.
The earlier people-and-companies dataset is retained in the local research room. It is a reporting inventory, not a freshly verified staff directory. In particular, disputed roles, ownership chains and allegations require their own checks before becoming reader-facing biographies.
Do not let a company map erase the crew
